HEF gets a Therascope
HEF is pleased to offer Therascope treatments to its clients (both horse & rider). We have seen the results work. Therascope treats soft tissue injuries from Suspensories to Laminitis. We have also used it on cuts, burns, and rider injuries. The Therascope is also being used at horse shows to prevent injuries and relieve aches and pains. Please see Denise to schedule Therascope for you or your horse.www.Therascope.com
Oaks Blenheim Summer Classic Week 1 Aug. 6-10
What an amazing week!
Once again Stephanie and her Asterix 311 were Champions in the Children's Jumpers with 2 wins! And again taking 3rd in the Children's Jumper Classic. They also took a spin around the Eq ring for a little fun & stayed in the ribbons! Way to go Stef!!
Roxanne and her Twenty Twenty attended their second AA rated show. They toured around the Long Stirrup and moved up to the Green Rider Hunter division. Pinning extremely well the entire weekend Roxanne managed to take home Reserve Champion in both divisions!! Wow!
Atreyu schooled around the 1.35 ring with great success and clean rounds.
Littorio and Angelina toured the 1.00M jumper divisions. With a rough start in the week Angeline changed leaps and bounds by the weekend and showed she is going to make it to the top of the sport. We are very excited about next week!
Showpark Aug. Festival 7/30-8/3/08
Asterix 311 and Stephanie Meyer were Champions in the Children's Jumpers with a 1st, and 2nds. Stephanie & Asterix also took 3rd in the very competive Ch/AA Jumper Classic.
Atreyu ribboned in all of his classes and also moved up the 1.40 proving once again that we have yet to tap into this young horses scope. Thank you to Everardo Hegewisch for putting in the great rides at the show.
7/18/08
It has been a while since I have up-dated the show news. We have been to a few horse shows since the last up-date including The Oaks & The Santa Barbara National Show.
Congratulations to the Kozlowski's on their Atreyu taking 2nd in the Channel Island Level 7 Jumper Classic out of a field of 14. This was Atreyu's second time jumping level 7 and he was one of 3 to make into the jump off! Thank you Everardo for riding him to this great success.
Rich Devin attended his first out of state show with his new Jurassic Park. He accomplished all of the goals we set for the horse show, two which including pinning in the very large 1.00M division, as well as going double clear. We can't wait to go do it again and tackle more goals!
Stephanie Meyer was Reserve Champion Children's Jumpers at The Oaks in June, pinned in all her classes at SB & was 5th in the classic. She also rode Rich Devin's Jurrasic Park to ribbons in the 3'3" classes over the weekend.
Angelina Kozlowski was 9th in the Low Ch/AA Jumper Classic. This was her first classic. Great job!
Naturally the Best showed with Stephanie Meyer and Everardo Hegewisch in the 2'- 2'3" hunters at his first ever out of state show. For being 4 years old he handled everything with class. Even the flags blowing along the arena side, right in his face!
Those are the highlights of the June & July shows so far. Aug. brings up 3 weeks in beautiful Southern California. We look forward to escaping the heat.
Show Park June Jamboree & SP County 3
Denise spent 1 1/2 weeks in Del Mar after the LAEC show. The first weekend was spent with Angelina's "Atreyu" & Sarah Velliux's "So Good" at Denise's trainer Everardo's barn. On top of doing lots of riding & giving lessons, Angelina's "Atreyu" competed at the county show that Sunday in the 4' Open jumpers bringing home a 2nd & 6th.
Staying on for the next week's show The June Jamboree, Denise was joined by Angelina, Diane, & Stephanie along with the rest of their horses. We had an amazing show.
The horses and riders all performed at their best, and it shows in the prizes. Congratulations to Diane Vogelzang for bringing home great ribbons & Reserve Champion in the Long Stirrup Hunters on Tres Jolie.
Angelina Kozlowski & her Littorio were Champions of the Low AA jumpers at only their second show!!
