HEF gets a Therascope
HEF is pleased to offer Therascope treatments to its clients (both horse & rider). We have seen the results work. Therascope treats soft tissue injuries from Suspensories to Laminitis. We have also used it on cuts, burns, and rider injuries. The Therascope is also being used at horse shows to prevent injuries and relieve aches and pains. Please see Denise to schedule Therascope for you or your horse.www.Therascope.com
Show Park - July
Straight after packing up at SB we headed down to Del Mar, CA for a show at Showpark. Sending a few home, and bringing a few others we had yet another great week. Results to come soon!!!
Thank you to Everardo Hegewisch for "baby sitting" Naturally The Best for 3 weeks and showing him in his first time ever doing the jumpers, and on the grass. He LOVED the grass field and kept himself in the ribbons the entire time. He is going to make an amazing jumper for someone. Looking forward to sending "Tommy" back to Everardo in the fall for some more show time.
Santa Barbara National - July
With 8 horses attending we had an amazing week.
Cathy Nicastro took her new project horse "Mighty Mo" for schooling around the jumper ring and put some great positive miles on Mo. We learned a lot about him and are looking forward to the next show!
Diane Vogelzang took her daughter's "Asterix 311" to spin him around the 2'9" jumpers, and the Adult Hunters. They pinned in all their classes, and were double clear in 3 out of 4 rounds only to pull a rail in one of jump offs. Congrats Diane on an amazing show. For sure your best one ever!
The England Family sent their young pony "My Private Jet" down to be ridden by Maddie W. for some schooling. Jet jumped around the rings drawing everyones eye. He also was ridden by Madison England in the Leadline which was completely adorable. Gracie Mendoza rode Jet in her first ever Walk Trot show receiving three 3rds and a 2nd. For green riders and the green pony it was a great show.
Laura Tracy and her Twenty Twenty went to their first show together! They pinned 2nds in their over fences and top of the class for their flat!! Twenty Twenty was also ridden by Phoebe Mendoza who was Reserve Champion in walk/trot, also won the eq. This was Phoebe's first show ever! Great riding ladies!
Roxanne Tracy took her Accenti CH and rode for the first time "indoors" in the dome. They sure learned a lot and by the end of the week were kicking some butt! Roxy also took Accenti in some small hunters and eq and did extremely well!
Delani Denton went to her very first 'A' rated show with amazing results on her amazing horse Class Act. Moving up from doing 2'6" - 2'9" at our local shows to 3'0-3'3" at the SB National. She pinned 2nd in her first class of the week the 1.00M open jumpers. She was also Champion in the Juvenile Hunters, and took a piece of the Low CH/AA Jumper Classic. You impressed us all Delani.
Madison Wedderspoon rode Max Factor for the Meyer/Vogelzangs in some pony classes and some juvenile hunter classes to school the young pony around. They took home great ribbons and looked like a polished pair by the end of the week. Thanks Maddie for your hard work riding the ponies! (she also rode My Private Jet for the England's)
Denise took her Naturally The Best just to school around and travel with the barn. He got to show for 3 more weeks in showpark...

Congratulations to Angelina Kozlowski and her "Notorious" on being Late Circuit Champions in the AA 18-35 jumpers. Champion week V, and placed well in the classics. Always in the ribbons.
Angelina also leased John Endicott's "Ice Man" for the last two weeks of showing. They won their first two classes in the AA 18-35, beating herself into 2nd place on Littorio. They were Reserve Champion Week VII. Thank you John for letting us borrow this amazing horse.
Stephanie Meyer moved up to the Low A/O with her new mount Lalique. The courses were tough and I know Stephanie learned a lot. Congrats on your ribbons.
Stephanie also piloted her Asterix 311 up to the Modified Jr/Am jumpers with success. Congrats on all your ribbons on Asterix in the Mod!!
Roxanne Tracy took her new horse Accenti CH to Thermal and for the first time not only rode in the 3'3" classes, but the jumpers, on a brand new horse. Congrats on your ribbons and gained knowledge. You did great!
Roxanne also rode her mother's horse Twenty Twenty around the hunters and equitation rings. She was Reserve Champion of the Junior Limit Equitation Week VII, and they won the Bit of Straw Hunter Classic.
Tagging along was Denise's horse "Naturally The Best"
